    Love it, but a Little Hiccup in Installing

    I was very excited to receive this Hard Drive, takes care of lots of issues with lack of storage space. However, I was a little frustrated with the small stuff. The screws sent with it to attach it to the drive tray for my Raid were just slightly too big. Once installed, the screw head stuck out a little far and would not allow the tray to go in the Raid box and make connection. Solution was easy-peasy, since I've done enough to have spare screws around to use. Once I replaced the four that came with it, it went right in. It is fast, pretty quiet and gobbles up the information I feed it. Thanks again, MacSales, for all the solutions you have to help me build the computer system I need! Thanks also for the blog article(s) concerning "Getting The Most Performance Out Of Spinning Hard Drives". They were the extra needed touch.

    HD fine. DO NOT USE IN iMAC

    Everything would've been fine. Upgraded SDD & HD. But, the adhesive that was used to attach the screen on late 2012 iMac 27" that was supplied by OWC is NOT reliable. It held for a few months. Then it fell and shattered the screen. I had read another review with same problem. Assumed user application error. Going in, I was festidious in removing old adhesive, cleaning and using alcohol to remove all traces of even oil from fingers. Super careful application, as I did see that one bad review. The adhesive did NOT hold and the screen let go.
